Why did you start volunteering with ABLE?:

I love theater and I love working with teens and young adults! Also, my friend Kaylie Honk (shoutout!) told me that ABLE is the best place to volunteer!

WHAT DO YOU DO WHEN YOU’RE NOT WITH US?

I am a Special Education teacher, Behavioral Therapist and a nanny!

WHAT ARE SOME OF YOUR FAVORITE HOBBIES?

Nature walks with my dog Smitty, supporting local artists and bands, photography, writing stories, studying languages and traveling! I also LOVE astronomy (outer space!) and visiting the Adler Planetarium! It is so very important to me that I advocate for marginalized groups as much as I can, raising awareness and fundraising for issues related to equality!

DO YOU HAVE A HIDDEN TALENT?

I love to sing! I performed in a few plays and musical theater when I was a kid. I’ve also been on tv!

WHO IS YOUR FAVORITE PERFORMER? WHAT DO YOU LIKE ABOUT THEM?

I am a VERY ENTHUSIASTIC fan of Harry Styles  He promotes kindness, racial equality, LGBTQ rights, and has raised funds for several non-profits through his concert tickets and merchandise. He is also a stand-out fashionista, song-writer and performer. I was able to see Harry show during the summer and it was THE BEST DAY EVER!

What would you do if you won a million dollars?

I would try to eliminate homelessness because everyone deserves a warm and safe place to sleep! I would also love to take my nieces on a trip of their choice!

WHAT’S YOUR GO-TO DANCE PARTY SONG?

*Dancing Queen* by ABBA!

ANYTHING ELSE YOU’D LIKE TO SHARE?

This is my first semester with ABLE and I am having a ton of fun! Everyone is so friendly and talented!
