Join A.B.L.E.'s adult ensembles share an original batch of stories inspired by some of Shakespeare's famous props.
Whether a treasured gift from a loved one, a symbol of power, or a focus of desire, objects carry meaning. A.B.L.E.’s adult ensemble - 12 actors with Down syndrome and other developmental differences - will take the stage in scenes, monologues, and movement pieces devised by the cast, and mixing their own words with some of The Bard’s. With a ring, a skull, a handkerchief, a crown, and a lantern who knows where our imaginations will lead?
